Good functionality, UI/UX could use a little help

I have been using this app to track mileage on horseback and its working really well. My two complaints are:

1. It only seems to track in metric, which means I have to do mental calisthenics to convert to the miles that my American brain thinks in.

2. I cannot seem to find a settings option or other means to allow me to name my tracks. The example track is named, but I cant seem to call mine anything but what it defaults to, which at the moment is fine because there are only three of them, but will become less so as I map out more of my regular routes and the list grows longer.
